STARTING HAND CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM

BETA. Working towards a full matrix of 'first five' starting hand strengths. The following are the major category types the first five cards, as a set, can be classified into. Examples of each type are given where applicable within each basic starting hand class (one-pair, two-pair, etc.). Not all hand classes are represented for manageability sake, and some (like 1-flush) are really only relevant for Pineapple. Specific hands can have varying EV depending on the variation of the game. First-5 EV will be tackled a little later on.

COOPERATORS: Cards can be grouped in separate draw ranges across two or possibly three rows
CANNIBALS: Cards share draw ranges and a split option is presented
VERTICALS: Cards can be comfortably split into two separate rows for vertical strength
DISPARATES: One made poker hand or draw plus (awkwardly) unconnected cards
HYBRIDS: Grouped cards with multiple simultaneous draws
